Rwanda’s President Kagame inaugurated for 4th term

Rwandan President Paul Kagame was sworn in for his fourth term as Rwanda’s head of state, marking the beginning of a new five-year term.
The inauguration ceremony, held at Amahoro National Stadium, was attended by over 45,000 people, including African heads of state, government officials, and dignitaries from across the continent.
The event was also graced by the presence of Zimbabwe’s President, Dr. Emerson Dambuzo Mnangagwa, and other prominent leaders. A military flyover, featuring helicopters adorned with Rwandan and Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) flags.
First Lady Jeannette Kagame and other dignitaries were also in attendance, demonstrating their support for President Kagame’s new mandate. This latest inauguration solidifies Kagame’s position as one of Africa’s longest-serving leaders, having held the office since 1994.
Kagame’s tenure has been marked by his key role in ending the devastating genocide between Hutus and Tutsis, and his subsequent efforts to maintain peace and stability in Rwanda. His leadership has earned him widespread praise and admiration from his citizens.
As President Kagame begins his new term, he faces the daunting task of building on his legacy and continuing to drive Rwanda’s development and growth. With his extensive experience and proven track record, many are confident that he will rise to the challenge and continue to lead Rwanda towards a brighter future.
