Anti-Smuggling Operation Recovers 70kg of Dagga

A nationwide anti-smuggling operation has led to the recovery of 70 kilograms of dagga and other contraband from cross-border transporters.
National Police Spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, said the task force also arrested several suspects and impounded buses and haulage trucks used for smuggling.
He emphasized that the operation reflects the government’s and law enforcement’s commitment to enforcing customs and excise regulations and securing national borders.
