ZRP Arrests Two Over Inyathi Murder Case

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of Kudzai Taendesa Chitima (24) and Fanuel Moyo (26) in connection with a murder that occurred on January 2, 2025, at Badala Village 3, Inyathi.
According to a ZRP statement, the incident unfolded when Admire Dhangamandla (28), Kudzai Chitima’s ex-boyfriend, arrived at her home and found her with Fanuel Moyo, her current boyfriend. This encounter sparked a heated argument that quickly escalated into a physical altercation between Dhangamandla and Moyo.
The ZRP revealed that Moyo allegedly struck Dhangamandla on the forehead with a stone before assaulting him further with his fists. Dhangamandla succumbed to his injuries at the scene. In a bid to conceal the crime, the suspects reportedly carried the body and dumped it in a bushy area near Badala Village 3.
Kudzai Chitima and Fanuel Moyo are now in police custody, with investigations into the case ongoing.
