ZITF Sees Increased Private Sector Participation

The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Hon. Mangaliso Ndlovu, has noted a significant rise in private sector involvement at this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), as government policies continue to foster a more business-driven economic landscape.
Held under the theme “Industrialisation: Crafting an Integrated Economic Landscape,” the 65th edition of the fair has attracted wide international participation, with 30 delegations confirmed, comprising 29 countries and the European Union.
Minister Ndlovu attributed the increased private sector presence to the government’s targeted efforts to empower businesses to lead in economic transformation and national development.
He also reiterated the government’s intention to reduce public sector dominance in such platforms, promoting a narrative of economic growth driven by private enterprise.
