ZINARA, TSCZ Donate Medical Equipment to Gwanda Provincial Hospital

Earlier today, the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) and the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe (TSCZ) donated medical equipment to Gwanda Provincial Hospital to help strengthen emergency response and healthcare delivery in Matabeleland South.

Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Development, Hon. Joshua Sacco, commended the donation, describing it as a significant step in improving the hospital’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies.

He noted that such collaborations reflect the importance of integrated support across government sectors.

Provincial Medical Director Dr Andrew Muza expressed appreciation for the gesture and assured that the donated resources would be used responsibly.

He praised the growing interdepartmental cooperation and highlighted the need for continued support to the health sector.

ZINARA Vice Board Chairperson Rtd Commissioner Chikowero Mujanga, described the handover as a demonstration of solidarity with healthcare workers.

She said the Council remains committed to supporting communities and ensuring that infrastructure development aligns with social needs.

The donated equipment is expected to enhance the hospital’s ability to handle emergencies and deliver improved patient care across the province.
