President Mnangagwa Honors Late Zambian Leader Dr. Edgar Lungu

President Emmerson Mnangagwa visited the Zambian Embassy in Harare to sign the Book of Condolences, paying homage to the late Dr. Edgar Lungu, the former President of Zambia. Dr. Lungu, who died at the age of 68, is remembered for his influential leadership and efforts in fostering regional cooperation.

Addressing the media, President Mnangagwa shared his personal bond with Dr. Lungu, as they had both studied law together. He referred to Dr. Lungu as “one of us” and commended his dedication to regional growth and collaboration.

The President recognized the great loss that Dr. Lungu’s death represents for the region’s leadership, underscoring his vision and commitment to the people of Zambia and the surrounding areas.
