ZIMRA Reminds Taxpayers of Upcoming Deadline for December Returns

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) has issued a reminder to all taxpayers that returns and remittances for the month ending 31 December 2024, are due on or before 10 January 2025.

According to statement, Taxpayers are required to submit their returns online through the Self Service Portal (SSP) on (link unavailable) Employers are mandated to submit the short Pay As You Earn (PAYE) return on TaRMS.

When making payments to ZIMRA, taxpayers must provide their name, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and tax obligation. Payments can be made through ZIMRA’s bank accounts.

Taxpayers who fail to submit their returns and pay taxes on time will face penalties and legal action. ZIMRA urges all taxpayers to file their returns and pay taxes due on time and in full to avoid any consequences.

The authority warns that outstanding returns and payments not made by the due date will attract penalties and interest, and may lead to legal action. Taxpayers are advised to settle their tax obligations promptly to avoid any inconvenience.
