Police Hunt for Fugitive Branch Manager in US$35,390 Fraud Case

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched a manhunt for Mthulisi Cecil Ronald Moyo, a 23-year-old former branch manager at a wholesaler in Victoria Falls, who is wanted in connection with a case of fraud.

According to the police reports, Moyo allegedly received US$35,390 from a cash-in-transit crew on 22 October 2024, which he was supposed to deposit into the company’s bank account. However, instead of depositing the money, Moyo allegedly took the cash and fled to an unknown destination.

The police are appealing to anyone with information regarding Moyo’s whereabouts to come forward. The public can contact the National Complaints Desk on (0242) 703631 or WhatsApp on 0712 800197, or report at any nearest police station.

The police are urging anyone with information to assist in bringing Moyo to justice and recovering the stolen funds.
