Zimbabwe youth urged to emulate national heroes

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appealed to the youth of Zimbabwe to cultivate a deep love and respect for their motherland, just as the heroes of the past did.
Speaking during the 44th Heroes’ Day commemorations at the National Heroes Acre in Harare yesterday, President Mnangagwa emphasized the need for young Zimbabweans to learn from the past and embrace the unity and solidarity that characterized the struggle for independence.
ED Mnangagwa urged the youth to apply these values towards building a brighter future for the country. He emphasized that by embracing the heroes’ spirit, the youth can play a crucial role in shaping Zimbabwe’s future.
Meanwhile, in Bulawayo, Minister of provincial affairs and devolution, Judith Ncube led the celebrations at the Nkulumane Heroes Acre in Bulawayo yesterday, where large crowds gathered to honor Zimbabwe’s heroes.
