Zimbabwe-Sweden Mining Expo to Tackle Sustainability and Innovation

Zimbabwe and Sweden are set to strengthen cooperation in sustainable mining at the Swedish-Zimbabwean Sustainability in Mining Expo, scheduled for 21 March 2025 in Harare.
The event will bring together policymakers, industry experts, and key stakeholders to discuss innovative solutions for responsible resource extraction and environmental conservation.
Hosted by the Swedish Embassy in partnership with industry players, the expo will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Honourable Winston Chitando, will lead discussions aimed at aligning Zimbabwe’s mining sector with modern environmental and efficiency standards.
With a focus on responsible resource extraction and industry innovation, the expo offers a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration between Zimbabwe and Sweden.
