Zimbabwe Strengthens Fight Against Corruption

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has reiterated Zimbabwe’s commitment to combating corruption at the High-Level Structured Dialogue held today at the Harare International Conference Centre.
He highlighted the anticipated enactment of the Whistleblower Protection Bill and the Witness Protection Bill as critical steps in strengthening anti-corruption efforts.
The dialogue brought together key stakeholders to review progress on Zimbabwe’s national debt resolution.
Notable attendees included Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, President of the African Development Bank, and former Mozambican President Joaquim Chissano.
In his address, President Mnangagwa also mentioned the Private Voluntary Organisation Bill, aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and curbing money laundering.
The dialogue is part of ongoing efforts to resolve Zimbabwe’s debt crisis, which has hindered economic growth. It seeks to establish lasting solutions through collaboration with stakeholders and international partners.
