Zimbabwe Republic Police Crack Down on Drug Trafficking, Arrest 125 Suspects

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has announced the arrest of 125 individuals in connection with drug-related offenses between May 1st and 15th, 2025.
The arrests were made as part of the police’s ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and substance abuse in the country.
Some notable arrests include possession of unregistered medicines in Southlea Park, Harare, Unlawful possession of methamphetamine in Harare Central Business District, Possession of crystal meth in Hatcliffe, Harare, Unlawful possession of methamphetamine in Mbare, Harare, Possession of unregistered medicines in Zaka, Masvingo and Unlawful possession of dagga in Masvingo.
ZRP urges the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious drug-related activities to the National Complaints Desk or nearest police station.
