Zimbabwe cricket launches women’s Premier league

Zimbabwe Cricket has announced the launch of the inaugural Women’s National Premier League (WNPL) T20 tournament. The six-team competition is set to begin tommorow the 15th of November.
The participating teams include Takashinga Queens (Harare), Gladiators (Chitungwiza), Amakhosi (Bulawayo), Queens (Bulawayo), Mbizo (Midlands), and Ghetto Star (Mutare & Masvingo).
Matches will be held across the country at various venues, including Takashinga Cricket Club in Harare, Mutare Sports Club, Masvingo Sports Club, Kwekwe Sports Club, and Bulawayo Athletic Club.
The ZC’s women league will aim to elevate women’s cricket in the country while providing a platform for upcoming female cricketers to showcase their skills on the national level.
