Zimbabwe and Japan to Strengthen Bilateral Relations at Expo 2025 Osaka

Zimbabwe and Japan are set to deepen their bilateral relations at Expo 2025 Osaka, where Zimbabwe will showcase its rich cultural diversity and explore opportunities to attract foreign investment.
Speaking during a meeting with Zimbabwe’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Honourable Amon Murwira, Japan’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, His Excellency Shinichi Yamanaka, emphasized his country’s commitment to enhancing business relations with Zimbabwe. He highlighted that Expo 2025 Osaka presents a valuable platform for both nations to strengthen economic cooperation.
Ambassador Yamanaka also noted that, in addition to hosting Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan will organize the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9), which aims to enhance economic ties between Africa and Japan.
Expo 2025 Osaka, a global event designed to tackle pressing issues such as climate change and social inequality, will run from 13 April to 13 October in Kansai, Japan, under the theme “Designing Future for Our Lives.”
