African National Congress (ANC) Youth League President Collen Malatji has arrived in Zimbabwe for preparatory meetings ahead of the Africa Youth Congress Summit, set to take place from May 23 to 26. The summit will bring together young leaders from across the continent to deliberate on key issues affecting African youth.

Speaking upon arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare, Hon. Malatji underscored the need for African youth to benefit from the continent’s vast resources. He emphasized that Africa’s raw materials should be processed locally to drive job creation and economic empowerment rather than being exported in their raw form.

The Africa Youth Congress is a Pan-Africanist platform dedicated to uniting young leaders across the continent to tackle pressing challenges. With a focus on governance, economic development, and social issues, the Congress seeks to foster collaboration and innovation, ensuring a more prosperous and self-sufficient Africa.
