Zim Hip Hop awards set for Friday the 13th

The 14th edition of the Zim Hip Hop Awards is set to take place this Friday, December 13, 2024, in Chisipite, Harare.

Running under the theme “Beyond the Beat,” the awards aim to showcase the versatility of Zimbabwean hip hop artists, bringing together sensations from across the country.

Notable musicians from Bulawayo nominated for the awards include Mlue Jay (Best Diaspora), Phanas and KBrizzy (Best Hip Hop Group), as well as Brucella and SkyzMetro’s Dee Moses in the Best Radio DJ category.

Additionally, Bulawayo’s Terry Tempo and KBrizzy are among the performers scheduled for the awards ceremony, alongside Runna Rulez, Nicole C, Young Gemini, and others.

The Pogues Zim Hip Hop Awards are an annual event that celebrates hip hop artists, radio DJs, promoters, and events in Zimbabwe.
