ZETDC Schedules Power Outage for Hwange’s Western Region

The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has notified residents and businesses in Hwange’s western region of a scheduled power outage today, from 09:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs, due to maintenance work on the electricity grid.
The affected areas include Zuva, Gain Cash and Carry, Three Choir, Pepsi, Machinery Exchange, GMB, Manoli, Sixnya Tyre Zim (Light Industrial Area), DA’s Camp, and nearby locations. The power supply is expected to be restored once the maintenance is completed.
The planned outage is part of ZETDC’s ongoing efforts to improve the reliability of electricity supply by upgrading the power infrastructure. This maintenance work is aimed at reducing the risk of unplanned outages and ensuring a more efficient and dependable service to customers in the region.
