The Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development (ZIMCODD) marked International Anti-Corruption Day yesterday by hosting a meeting with partner organizations to underscore the critical role of youth in the fight against corruption.
The event, themed “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity,” aimed to foster transparent and accountable institutions.
ZIMCODD Programmes Manager, John Maketo, stressed the importance of renewing commitments to combatting corruption in all its forms adding that ZIMCODD stands in solidarity with all Zimbabweans who aspire to a better, transparent, and prosperous nation.
Maketo further emphasized that corruption erodes societal integrity, hinders progress, and jeopardizes the future of young people and therefore, taking decisive action against corruption is essential to safeguarding the future of Zimbabwe’s youth.
