Young Zimbabwean Advocate Stands in Solidarity with Mozambique’s Children Affected by Cyclone Chido

Unathi Nyoni, a dedicated Youth Advocate from UNICEF Zimbabwe, has extended a message of hope and support to the children and families in Mozambique affected by the devastating Cyclone Chido.

Through a UNICEF Zimbabwe’s social media post, Nyoni emphasized the urgent need to address the climate crisis,which he described as a children’s rights crisis which threatens the very foundation of their existence.

As UNICEF Zimbabwe works closely with UNICEF Mozambique and other partners to provide emergency assistance to those children affected by the cyclone, Nyoni’s solidarity message shines a light on the power of young people to make a difference while also highlighting the importance of standing together in the face of adversity.
