Women’s Premier League Fixtures Announced

The Zimbabwe Women’s Premier Soccer League has released its fixtures for the 2025 season, revealing a thrilling start with a Bulawayo derby.

The season opener will see newly promoted Mpopoma Sports Academy (MPOSA) from the Women’s Southern Region Soccer League clash with Highlanders Royals FC, the only two teams representing the Southern region in the top flight.

Reigning champions Herentals Queens are set to kick off their title defense against Black Rhinos, a match promising high intensity. With Herentals Queens securing the championship by a narrow one goal margin last season, both teams will be eager to assert their dominance early on.

The 2025 season, featuring 16 teams, is scheduled to commence in April and will run for 30 weeks, encompassing a total of 240 matches.
