Zimbabwe fell to 2-0 defeat against Lesotho, in a dogged defensive performance at the Fifa World Cup 2026 Qualifier match that was played at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg on Friday afternoon.

The Warriors made most of the attacking play but conceded two goals, both against the run of play in the first half.

Rethabile Rasethuntsa, kneed one in from a corner after Donovan Bernard flapped at it.

Jane Thabantso made it 2-0 and set up what eventually became their first win in a Fifa World Cup Qualifier in 10 years.

On Tuesday Zimbabwe will face South Africa.
