PSL Chair and deputy Step down after contracts expire

Premier Soccer League (PSL) Chairman Farai Jere and his deputy Lifa Ncube have stepped down from their positions after their contracts expired on 31 December.
A statement from the league, expressed gratitude for Jere and Ncube’s unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership during their tenure.
To ensure smooth operations during the transition, the Board of Governors appointed an Emergency Committee comprising Messrs Masimba Chihowa, Moses Maunganidze, and Isaiah Mupfurutsa. This committee will oversee league affairs until new elections are held to fill the vacant positions.
The PSL statement assured all stakeholders that the Emergency Committee will effectively manage the league’s operations during this period.
