Prosecutor General Meets ZACC Commissioners to Strengthen Anti-Corruption Efforts

Prosecutor General Hon. Loyce Matanda-Moyo recently met with Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) commissioners to enhance collaborative efforts in the fight against corruption.

Addressing the media, Matanda-Moyo emphasized the critical working relationship between the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and ZACC. She underscored the importance of maintaining clear legal boundaries—where ZACC handles investigations and the NPA is responsible for prosecutions.

She noted that the recent appointment of ZACC commissioners will help clarify and define investigative and prosecutorial roles. Matanda-Moyo also urged the public to give investigators ample time to conduct thorough inquiries, assuring that completed cases will be taken to court.
