Presidential War Veterans Fund to Boost Economic Participation

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that war veterans actively participate in Zimbabwe’s economic development through the Presidential War Veterans Fund.

Speaking at the ZANU-PF Central Committee Meeting, Mnangagwa emphasized the significance of the fund and the vital role war veterans play in driving sustainable development.

The fund has been launched across various provinces, with $150,000 USD allocated to each, and an additional $350,000 USD set to be disbursed soon.

According to the Presidential Empowerment Fund Initiatives, this week’s launch is taking place in Gwanda, where a solar-powered three-bedroom house is under construction for Cde Edward Ndlovu of Ward 22, Gwanda Tshitaudze.
