President to start annual leave today

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is set to start his annual leave today 31 December 2024 up until early February.
The one month leave will give the president a chance to recuperate after all the work he has done during the year. In a statement released by the office of the president, his Excellency, President Mnangagwa stated that he plans on spending his vacation in Zimbabwe, attending to personal issues and issues that require his attention as a state president and chairperson of the Southern African Development Community(SADC).
During the period of this vacation, vice presidents honourable Kembo D.C.M Mohadi and honourable Doctor Constantino D.G.N Chiwenga will stand in looking at some of the presidential duties. Vice president Kembo Mohadi will act as president from 31 December 2024 till 19 January 2025. Vice president Constantino Chiwenga will act until the president returns from his annual vacation in early February.
