Beitbridge Man Appears in Court for Attempted Murder

A 26-year-old man from Chief Staudze’s area in Beitbridge, identified as Ndou, appeared before the Beitbridge Magistrate’s Court facing allegations of attempted murder.
According to National Prosecuting Authority, the incident occurred on 26 December 2024, at around 4:30 am at Ndambe Village, Beitbridge. Ndou allegedly followed the complainant, who was walking home from Ndambe Business Centre, and started quarreling with him.
The altercation escalated, with Ndou stabbing the complainant twice on the head with an okapi knife and assaulting him all over the body with a sjambok.
The complainant sustained severe injuries, including two deep wounds on his head and multiple bruises on his body. Ndou was remanded to 3 January 2025, for trial.
