President Mnangagwa Urges Zimbabweans to Extend Warm Welcome to SADC Visitors

With the Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit commencing tomorrow, President Emmerson Mnangagwa has called upon Zimbabweans to showcase their renowned hospitality and peaceful culture to visiting dignitaries.

In a speech delivered at the University of Zimbabwe yesterday, the President encouraged citizens to turn out in large numbers to warmly welcome the guests, ensuring they depart with fond memories of the country’s warmth and tranquility.

Emphasizing the significance of a unified welcome, President Mnangagwa stressed that SADC members should feel embraced not only by leaders but by the entire population.

In anticipation of the summit, the President of Namibia, Nangolo Mbumba, and Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera arrived in Harare yesterday, marking the beginning of this pivotal regional event.
