Bulawayo Commended for Peaceful Holiday

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has praised Bulawayo residents for a peaceful Heroes Day and Defence Forces Day weekend. Unlike previous years, the holidays passed without incident, with no reports of unruly behavior or chaos.

Speaking during a show on Skyz Metro FM, ZRP Bulawayo Spokesperson Inspector Abednigo Ncube had this to say.

The Heroes Day celebrations in Nkulumane and Defence Forces Day commemorations at White City Stadium were both peaceful.

Meanwhile, soccer matches between Dynamos and Simba Bhora at Barbourfields Stadium, and Highlanders FC and Ngezi Platinum Stars at White City Stadium, were also incident-free.
