2502 Polytechnic students capped today

Bulawayo Polytechnic College held its 95th graduation ceremony yesterday, where 2,502 students from three institutions Binga, Plumtree, and Bulawayo were capped.

The ceremony was officiated by Mrs. Makandomi, Chief Director of Finance, who represented the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Prof. Doc Amon Murwira.

The graduation was held under the theme “Heritage-Based Enhanced Education 5.0 for Sustainable National Development”. Mrs. Makandomi encouraged graduates to create employment opportunities for themselves and others.

She also emphasized that graduates should be doers, capable of providing solutions to problems facing our nation and the world, to develop our nation.

Notably, last year’s graduation ceremony at Byo Polytechnic saw 2,300 students graduate.
