President Mnangagwa Swears in New Commissioners to Strengthen Governance Framework

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today officiated the swearing-in of new commissioners at State House in Harare, marking significant appointments aimed at fortifying Zimbabwe’s governance structures.
The newly appointed members of the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services Commission include Simon Madzimure, Albert Mandinika, Rosemary Nyamweda Kanonge, Sternly Kandongwe, Chipo Mandela, and Utloile Silaigwana.
Additionally, Martin Muduva was appointed as the Zimbabwe Human Rights Commissioner, while Kudakwashe Christopher Muchena will serve as the Zimbabwe Independent Complaints Commissioner.
These key appointments are poised to strengthen the nation’s human rights and correctional services frameworks, reaffirming the government’s commitment to promoting good governance, accountability, and transparency.
