Government Commits to Affordable Housing Delivery

The government has reaffirmed its commitment to providing affordable and decent housing through collaborations with public, private, and non-governmental sectors, as well as local communities, to ensure progressive housing delivery.

In a post on X, the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services revealed plans to leverage innovative technologies to lower construction costs and enhance housing accessibility in partnership with key stakeholders.

Speaking to SkyzMetro FM, Bulawayo Mayor Senator David Coltart emphasized that the Bulawayo City Council, in collaboration with private developers, is actively working to make affordable and decent housing available to residents.

By implementing these strategies, the government and its partners aim to deliver sustainable and innovative housing solutions that improve citizens’ quality of life.
