NFT Director Honored at Inaugural Herald Community Heroes Awards

The Director of Nkomwa Foundation Trust (NFT), Mr. Pick Nkomwa, was honored at the First Herald Community Heroes Awards held in Harare on Tuesday night. The award recognized his relentless efforts in improving the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Matabeleland North and South.
The Herald Awards aimed to recognize exceptional individuals from each of Zimbabwe’s 10 provinces, celebrating their remarkable contributions to their communities.
In an interview, Mr. Nkomwa expressed his gratitude, noting that the award would serve as motivation to continue his work with PWDs. He admitted being shocked, as he had never imagined himself as one of the awardees making a positive impact.
Mr. Nkomwa emphasized that dedication leads to significant accomplishments, encouraging the public to pursue their passions and goals.
Other awardees from the region included Sazini Tshuma and Mrs. Chingombe from Bulawayo, Obert Dube and Chief Mbuso Dakamela from Matabeleland North, and Mrs. Babongile from Matabeleland South.
