President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has called for the consolidation of Zimbabwe’s achievements while addressing gaps in critical areas as the year draws to a close.

Speaking during a session at the ZANU PF Headquarters on Tuesday, the President reflected on the party’s milestones and outlined priorities for driving national progress.

The President highlighted the importance of maintaining momentum in delivering on key development initiatives, pointing to successes such as the completion of the Shurugwi-Mandamabwe Road, expansions at Hwange, and the commissioning of Varun Beverages. These projects, he noted, are a testament to the ruling party’s commitment to economic growth and infrastructure development.

Turning his attention to industrial revitalization, the President underscored the iron and steel sector’s critical role in economic transformation. He emphasized the significance of the recent Iron and Steel Conference in Kwekwe, which brought together government, industry stakeholders, and investors to explore strategies for innovation and sustainable growth in the Midlands province.

As the party gears up for 2025, the President urged ZANU PF and its partners to build on successes while remaining adaptive and forward-thinking in addressing Zimbabwe’s developmental challenges.
