Newly Sworn Commissioners Pledge Commitment to Service

The newly sworn-in commissioners, inaugurated by President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa yesterday, have expressed enthusiasm for their new appointments as they prepare to undertake their roles in various departments.
Commissioner Kudakwashe Christopher Muchena, now serving as the Zimbabwe Independent Complaints Commissioner, highlighted the importance of his role. He noted that his expertise as a Specialist Psychologist will be pivotal in addressing mental health, trauma, depression, and other related challenges within the organization.
Commissioner Tloile Silayigwana, representing the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS), emphasized a commitment to diligence and fostering strong relationships with the civilian population.
The other newly appointed commissioners include Simon Madzimure, Albert Mandinika, Rosemary Nyamweda Kanonge, Sternly Kandongwe, and Chipo Mandela for the ZPCS, as well as Martin Muduva, who assumes the role of Zimbabwe Human Rights Commissioner.
