President Mnangagwa Commits to Safe Workplaces and Infrastructure Development

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to creating safe and decent workplaces, alongside infrastructure that supports women, youth, and urban communities.
He made the pledge during the High-Level Structured Dialogue meeting held in Harare on recently.
President Mnangagwa also highlighted the government’s efforts in rebuilding urban infrastructure, citing the reconstruction of Mbare traders’ market as an example.
He stressed the importance of providing urban communities with safe, modern working spaces.
The meeting, led by President Mnangagwa, brought together key stakeholders, including African Development Bank President Dr. Akinwumi Adesina and former Mozambican President Joaquim Chissano, who facilitated the discussions.
Representatives from government, creditors, development partners, civil society, and the private sector participated in the forum, which focused on Zimbabwe’s progress in addressing debt clearance challenges.
