The government has made strides in boosting the energy sector, and President Emmerson Mnangagwa is calling on all stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment for investors.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of a new 720-megawatt power plant in Hwange recently, President Mnangagwa emphasized the need for protection of investors from vandalism and theft. He urged the police and security agencies to take necessary measures to prevent any potential threats and encouraged traditional leaders to work closely with law enforcement agencies.
This new power plant is a crucial part of Zimbabwe’s National Strategy to enhance the energy sector and reduce load shedding. The project is expected to make an impact on the country’s economy and pave the way for a brighter future.
