MP urge timely disbursement of government funds

Makokoba MP and Proportional Representation legislator Thokozani Khuphe has called on the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion to speed the disbursement of government funds to ensure their timely utilization.
Speaking at a recent parliamentary post-budget seminar, Khupe expressed concern over the delayed distribution of funds, which she said is hindering development and causing hardship for vulnerable groups in the society.
Meanwhile, Last week, Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube presented the 2025 National Budget, acknowledging the issue of delayed fund disbursement.
He assured the public that the government is taking steps to address the problem and improve the efficiency of the process.
