President Mnangagwa Back in the Country

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has returned to Zimbabwe after attending the 29th Conference of Parties (COP29) in Azerbaijan, where he joined other Heads of State to address global climate change issues.

He arrived at Robert Mugabe International Airport and was welcomed by Vice Presidents Dr. CG Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi, along with other senior government officials.

Speaking upon his arrival, President Mnangagwa stated that the conference underscored the universal challenges posed by climate change, emphasizing the urgent need for collaborative global action.

As SADC chairman, he highlighted the importance of unity and shared responsibility among nations in combating the climate crisis.

President Mnangagwa is set to preside over the 30th graduation ceremony of the National University of Science and Technology tomorrow, the 15th of November, at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair’s Hall 4 in Bulawayo.
