President Mnangagwa Arrives in Russia to Strengthen Ties, Discuss Economic Partnerships

Zimbabwe’s President Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday arrived in Russia for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, as part of a tour that included the South Korea – Africa Summit.
Mnangagwa’s visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and explore potential economic partnerships.
President Mnangagwa’s delegation includes several high-level government officials, including Minister of Finance Mthuli Ncube and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fredrick Shava.
Potential agreements between the two countries include joint ventures in diamond mining, fertilizer production, and other precious stone extraction.
With several Russian companies already active in Zimbabwe, this meeting provides a chance to deepen existing ties and explore new avenues for cooperation. President Mnangagwa is expected to use this platform to showcase Zimbabwe’s potential as a hub for investment and trade in Africa.
