His Excellency President Dr. Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Mr. Elesh Patel as the Special Presidential Investment Advisor for Bangladesh, Thailand, and Vietnam.

This significant appointment was announced at a ceremony hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Hon. Prof. Dr. Amon Murwira, at the Munhumutapa Offices.

As the Special Presidential Investment Advisor, Mr. Patel will play a crucial role in fostering economic and commercial partnerships between Zimbabwe and these countries. His primary responsibilities will include championing initiatives for beneficiation and value addition, which are essential for Zimbabwe’s economic growth and development.

This appointment marks a pivotal step in enhancing Zimbabwe’s economic cooperation with Bangladesh, Thailand, and Vietnam. It is anticipated that Mr. Patel’s efforts will attract foreign investment, promote trade, and create new opportunities for economic advancement in Zimbabwe.
