The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (MoPSE) has taken a significant step to improve school oversight and management by officially handing over 15 brand-new Isuzu double cab vehicles to district school inspectors nationwide.

Speaking during the handover, Permanent Secretary for Primary and Secondary Education, Moses Mhike, emphasized that the vehicles are part of broader efforts to enhance school supervision at the provincial and district levels. This initiative is aimed at improving school performance as the academic year begins.

In Bulawayo, the District Schools Inspector for Khami District was among the first to receive one of the vehicles, which is expected to simplify daily school supervision tasks and management operations.

The move comes as schools prepare to open for the 2025 academic year on January 14, signaling the Ministry’s commitment to raising standards in education.
