Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development Dismisses Funding Claims

The Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development has dismissed a fake claim made by an X user, with username of the Ministry’s Minister Honourable Anxious Jongwe Masuka regarding a funding opportunity for farmers.

The fake X account claimed that the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development in collaboration with Perennial Farmers Enterprise Network,would provide funding to farmers across the country.

According to the fake post with Masuka’s username the funding was intended to support hardworking farmers passionate about advancing their farming ventures.

He invited individuals,groups, companies and cooperatives to submit their grant applications online through a provided link, emphasizing the importance of applying before the deadline.

However, the ministry has dismissed the fake announcement.
