In a dazzling display of football prowess, Real Madrid claimed their record sixth European Super Cup title, defeating Atalanta 2 nil yesterday evening.

The night belonged to the French striker Kylian Mbappé, whose dream debut was capped off with a breathtaking strike in the 68th minute, to seal the victory for the Los Blancos.

Federico Valverde opened the scoring for Real Madrid in the 59th minute, slotting the ball home from close range before Mbappé doubled the lead nine minutes later, expertly firing the ball into the top corner from Jude Bellingham’s pass.

With this win, Real Madrid surpasses Barcelona and AC Milan, who have each won the Super Cup five times. The European champions demonstrated their prowess, outclassing Atalanta and cementing their position as a force to be reckoned with in the football world.
