Man Charged with Cattle Theft Valued at Over $45,000

A 39-year-old man, Wellington Kopiwe Majapelo from Bulawayo, appeared before Tredgold magistrate’s court yesterday, facing charges of stealing 88 cattle belonging to Henrietta Taelo Keitumetse at Inkubu Ranch.
According to Magistrate Shepherd Munjanja, the complainant had entrusted Majapelo with 197 cattle, but he unlawfully converted 88 of them to his own use, resulting in a loss exceeding his $45,000
Majapelo will appear for a bail hearing on 17 December this year.
