Highlanders CEO Brian Moyo Suspended Over Transfer Fee Mismanagement allegations

Highlanders Football Club has reportedly suspended its Chief Executive Officer, Brian Moyo, amid an ongoing investigation into alleged financial mismanagement related to player transfers.
Sources close to the club indicate that a joint meeting of the board and executive committee, held on Thursday evening, led to Moyo’s suspension over concerns regarding the transfer of two players from Bulawayo Chiefs.
It is alleged that Moyo mishandled a financial transaction, resulting in Bulawayo Chiefs receiving USD 18,000 instead of the agreed USD 23,000, with inconsistencies in the invoicing process. The club is said to have recorded a higher requisition amount than what was eventually received by Chiefs.
Highlanders is yet to issue an official statement on the matter, but further investigations are underway.
