Preparations for the 44th SADC Summit in Harare are in full swing, as 95% of the 200 kilometers of roads earmarked for construction and rehabilitation now complete.
The road network has been transformed to ensure a seamless travel experience for attendees, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade has expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting that the works on the ground demonstrate the country’s capacity to deliver a world-class summit.
As the final touches are applied, excitement is building for the SADC Industrialisation Week, which will precede the summit. Over 150 exhibitors are expected to showcase their innovations, making it a must-attend event for industry leaders and enthusiasts alike.
Additionally, a public lecture at the University of Zimbabwe will provide a platform for thought leaders to share their insights on regional integration and industrialization.
