Govt Integrated Results-Based Management System to Improve Transparency
Written by Staff Reporter on October 30, 2024
The government is promoting the adoption of an Integrated Results-Based Management (IRBM) system across all public entities to enhance efficiency, accountability, and transparency.
This system is designed to reduce human involvement in sensitive stages of the procurement process, such as bidding, where there is a higher risk of corruption.
At the recently ended Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) conference, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Clever Ruswa encouraged parastatal leaders to implement the IRBM system.
The government views this initiative as essential to achieving Vision 2030, emphasizing the need for all public utilities to align their strategies with national goals to effectively deliver services to citizens.
