21-year-old Tsholotsho Man Arrested for Statutory Rape

A 21-year-old man from Tsholotsho has been taken into custody following allegations of statutory rape involving a 14-year-old girl in which the victim’s pregnancy led to the discovery of the abuse.
The suspect allegedly engaged in sexual relations with the minor on two separate occasions, despite her refusal to consent. Following the revelation, the girl was immediately hospitalized.
The National Prosecuting Authority encourages parents and guardians to foster closer relationships with their children, ensuring they feel comfortable reporting any wrongdoing.
The authorities have emphasized the importance of parental guidance and open communication to prevent such incidents.
The case is currently under investigation, with the suspect awaiting trial.
