The Office of the President convened a National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) workshop yesterday in Kadoma, bringing together heads of ministries, departments, and agencies to align national priorities.
Deputy Chief Secretary in the Office of the President, Reverend Paul Damasane, emphasized the crucial role of NDS2 in driving Zimbabwe’s economic growth.
Set to begin in 2026, NDS2 marks the final phase toward achieving Vision 2030. It builds on the successes of NDS1 (2021–2025), which made strides in food security, infrastructure development, and investment growth.
As a five-year medium-term plan, NDS2 aims to promote sustainable innovation, modernization, industrialization, and overall national development.
