Government Establishes Provincial and District Tourism Offices Country Wide

Bulawayo, Zimbabwe – Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Honourable Barbra Rwodzi, has announced the establishment of provisional and district offices designed to facilitate investment in the tourism sector.
Speaking at the 2024 Sanganai-Hlanganani Tourism Expo in Bulawayo, Minister Rwodzi emphasized the crucial role these offices will play in assisting potential investors.
The new initiative aligns with the expo’s theme, “Unlocking Tourism Investment Opportunities For Local Economic Development,” and supports the government’s ambitious goal of achieving a US$5 Billion Tourism Economy by 2025, as outlined in the National Tourism Recovery and Growth Strategy.
The establishment of these offices demonstrates the government’s commitment to creating a more conducive environment for tourism investment and fostering economic growth.
